Rules

The project was created by a group of dedicated players of the official Russian server "Teos: Goddess's Wishes" with the goal of reuniting the scattered community and reviving the game. The server is private. The server hardware, software and all content on the website and/or in the game belong to the project administration (the group of dedicated players). Access to the game is provided for evaluation purposes only. From the above, the following project rules follow:

1. Basic rules and provisions:

• 1.1. By registering an account you automatically agree to these rules; ignorance or misunderstanding of the rules does not release you from responsibility for violating them.
  If a player does not agree with the rules, they must contact customer support to have their account blocked.
• 1.2. When creating an account, the player will need to choose a username and password. The complexity of the login/password directly affects the security of the account. It is forbidden to create accounts using names that contain:
  • explicit or veiled references to pedophilia, sexual violence, the sexual orientation of the administration, a player or any third party, racism or any other activity inciting racial and/or ethnic hatred.
  • profane, obscene or vulgar language.
  • names of third parties with the intent to impersonate such a third party.
  • any other content contrary to generally accepted principles of morality and law or violating the rights of third parties.
• 1.3. The account owner bears full responsibility for everything done through their account, regardless of their state of mind at the time of the violation or of who actually performed the actions.
• 1.4. To register an account, the player must provide the administration with the personal data requested during registration.
• 1.5. The user must remember their registration data (login, password) or keep it in a safe place. If this data is lost or stolen, the administration reserves the right not to handle its return, restoration of account rights, etc.
• 1.6. The language of the game is Russian. Transliteration is permitted. Support is provided exclusively in Russian.
• 1.7. The administration reserves the right to make any changes to the server side, the gameplay and the project rules without prior notice to players.
• 1.8. The player must immediately inform the administration of any noticed bug, error or flaw in the game or server software, as well as of any violator exploiting such errors or suspected of doing so. Concealing this information is regarded as complicity. Rewards are offered for discovered bugs — see Bug Bounty.
• 1.9. The game and the website are not intended for independent use by persons under the age at which independent consent to the processing of personal data is permitted; use by minors requires the consent of their legal representatives.
• 1.10. The player undertakes to play fairly within the faction confrontation. Actions that distort the intent of the faction-warfare game mechanics are forbidden (including cross-faction alliances and arrangements with players of the opposing faction), as are any manipulations of game statistics, including boosting and trading of PvP kill points. Penalties are defined in sections 10.4 and 10.5 of the list of violations.
• 1.11. An account is intended to be used only by its owner. It is forbidden to transfer access to an account (login and/or password) to third parties in any way — selling, trading, gifting, granting temporary access — as well as to log into and use other people's accounts. The owner is responsible for all actions performed under their account (see clause 1.3). Penalties are defined in section 8 of the list of violations.

2. Rights of the Administration:

• 2.1. To issue remarks, warnings and notices during gameplay, informing the player of non-compliance with the game rules.
• 2.2. To apply penalties to the player for violations of the game rules.
• 2.3. To suspend the game and/or gameplay at its own discretion at any time, without prior notice to the player or group of players.
• 2.4. To send the player informational or technical messages related to the game and/or gameplay by sending an individual message in a manner chosen by the administration.
• 2.5. The administration does not interfere with the gameplay in any way, except in situations it deems to require intervention. The administration has the right to intervene in the gameplay to resolve conflicts at its own discretion.
• 2.6. The administration may at any time, without explanation, stop providing access to the server to a specific user or to an entire subnet.
• 2.7. The administration independently and at its own discretion decides what constitutes a violation of these game rules. The administration is not obliged to provide the player with any evidence of the violation.
• 2.8. The administration reserves the right to assess users' actions and impose sanctions on them in cases not covered by these rules, if it deems it necessary.
• 2.9. Accounts and all their contents are the property of the server administration.

3. Rights of the player:

• 3.1. To install the game client on their PC by downloading it from the website.
• 3.2. To post information on the game's website via forums and chats, as well as on the official page on the VKontakte social network via comments.
• 3.3. It is forbidden to publish information containing:
  • Violence.
  • Pornography.
  • Insults directed at the administration, players and other users of the website and of the page on the VKontakte social network.
  • Profanity and veiled swearing in game chats and comments.
  • Lies and slander regarding the administration and players.
  • Advertising of third-party resources (discussion, spam, links to third-party sites and other Shaiya projects).
  • Agitation of players, turning them against the administration, players or other persons.
  • Buying/selling in-game valuables on other projects.
  • Buying/selling/trading game accounts.
  • Files containing viruses, trojans, worms, time bombs, cancelbots, corrupted files or data, or other similar software that could damage the game or disrupt the operation of other people's computers.
  • Real personal data of other players or third parties without their consent.
• 3.4. It is permitted:
  • To publish information containing:
    • - the player's own works (art/images/animations, audio recordings, videos)*.
    • - screenshots of gameplay**
    • *works that do not match the game's theme are subject to removal.
    • **screenshots of gameplay from other Shaiya/Teos servers (except the official server) are subject to removal.
  • To take part in contests, quizzes and promotions held by the administration on the website and the official VKontakte page, in the manner provided by the terms of such contests, quizzes and promotions.
• 3.5. To prevent unauthorized access to their account, and to immediately notify customer support if there is a threat of unauthorized use of the account by third parties.
• 3.6. To provide accurate information when creating an account and registering on the website. If the player provides inaccurate information, the player assumes all possible risks that may arise.

4. Guarantees of the parties:

• 4.1. The player guarantees that they will refrain from actions that could directly or indirectly harm the administration, players and other users of the game's website and the official VKontakte page.
• 4.2. The player guarantees that they will follow all restrictions on the use of the game and third-party software.
• 4.3. The administration guarantees the safety of the personal data provided by the player and does not disclose it to third parties, except in cases provided for by these rules and the privacy policy.

5. Limitations of the Administration's liability:

• 5.1. The administration provides no guarantees regarding error-free and uninterrupted gameplay, or that the game and/or gameplay will meet the player's subjective expectations.
• 5.2. The administration is not liable if the player loses the ability to access their account in the game and/or on the website.
• 5.3. The administration is not liable for damage incurred by the player as a result of unauthorized access by third parties to the player's personal information, including access to the player's account and balance.
• 5.4. The administration is not liable for anything the player says (orally or in writing) while in the game, in chat rooms or on the game's forums, or for any consequences of the player's statements.
• 5.5. The server administration is not liable for damage caused as a result of playing on this server, or for other cases that may lead to undesirable situations.
• 5.6. In-game trading is carried out directly by the players themselves, and any mistakes made by the parties to a trade remain on their own conscience.
• 5.7. The administration is not obliged to investigate account thefts and may not be able to help you recover items if your account is compromised. All assistance regarding account theft is provided when possible. (However, we still strongly recommend contacting us about it right away).

1. Use of profanity, insults and/or provocative messages in the game and beyond

1.7. Provocation/trolling or any other kind of offensive behavior aimed at fueling conflicts.	From a 3-day account block up to a permanent block.
1.8. Disrespectful remarks toward game masters (GMs), the administration or the server as a whole; disrespectful or rude remarks about the administration or GMs in any chat, threats, etc.	From a warning up to a permanent account block.
1.9. Use of profanity, veiled swearing and/or insults when contacting technical support at teos.zz.sup@gmail.com, as well as when contacting the administration by any other means provided for by the current rules of the game server.	From a warning up to a permanent block.
1.10. Use of profanity, veiled swearing and/or provocative messages in a character's nickname and/or a guild name, or in the name of an in-game shop.	Renaming of the character/guild, and blocking of the violator up to a permanent block.
1.11. Publishing or distributing the real personal data of another player or other person (name, surname, address, phone number, photos, place of work/study, etc.) without their consent, including for the purpose of intimidation, harassment or pressure.	From a 3-day account block up to a permanent one. A complete ban from the project is possible.
2. Impersonating a representative of the administration or another player

2.1. Using terminology in a character's nickname that implies a connection with the administration, including for the purpose of gaining an in-game advantage and/or in-game valuables.	Renaming of the character, account block up to a permanent one, confiscation of the obtained in-game valuables and/or advantages.
2.2. Using terminology in a guild name that implies the guild's connection with the administration.	Renaming of the guild, blocking of the violator's account up to a permanent one.
2.3. Impersonating a trusted associate of the administration and/or a person connected with the administration.	Account block from 1 day up to a permanent one.
2.4. Impersonating another player: using another player's name or image in a character's nickname, a guild name or an in-game shop name with the intent to mislead, defraud or gain benefit.	Renaming of the character/guild at the violator's own expense, account block from 1 day up to a permanent one, confiscation of the obtained in-game valuables and/or advantages.
3. Threats

3.2. Blackmail or other forms of extortion.	Account block up to a permanent one.
3.3. Threats to have an account blocked, for the purpose of blackmail and/or pressure on a player.	Account block from 1 day up to a permanent one.
3.4. Threats against the project/project administration. An attempt and/or threat to disrupt the service.	Account block up to a permanent one.
4. Propaganda and/or offenses against public morals.

4.1. Offending public morals, promoting and/or expressing rejection or hatred, as well as promoting discrimination against people on racial, ethnic, gender, religious or social grounds, disrespect for culture, race, nation, people, language, politics and political systems, ideology, social movements, etc.	Account block up to a permanent one.

5. Distribution of information, including advertising.

Distributing links to resources containing: 5.1.1. information about game servers, including Shaiya (Teos), as well as any other games and third-party resources unrelated to the project; 5.1.2. any information about alcohol or drugs; 5.1.3. pornography; 5.1.4. promotion of hatred and/or discrimination against people on racial, moral, ethnic, gender, religious or social grounds; disrespect for culture, race, people, nation or language; 5.1.5. promotion of hatred toward a political system, ideology or social movement, as well as distribution of information of a similar nature; 5.1.6. phishing sites.	Account block from 1 day up to a permanent one. A complete ban from the project is possible[3].
5.2. Distributing information about third-party and/or malicious software.	Account block up to a permanent one.
5.3. Advertising and/or distributing information about active Shaiya (Teos) game servers. Encouraging other players to visit those servers, as well as any other competing games and third-party resources unrelated to the project.	Account block up to a permanent one.
6. Exploiting game bugs (errors).

6.1. Gaining an in-game advantage/in-game valuables by exploiting game errors.	Warning/account block from 7 days up to a permanent one, confiscation of the in-game valuables and/or in-game advantages obtained as a result of such exploitation.
6.2. Exploiting game errors without gaining an in-game advantage and/or in-game valuables.	From a warning up to a 7-day account block.
6.3. Receiving in-game valuables/an in-game advantage as a result of another user's exploitation of game errors.	Account block from 7 days up to a permanent one, confiscation of the in-game valuables and/or in-game advantages obtained as a result of such exploitation.
6.4. Gaining an in-game advantage/in-game valuables by fraudulent use of the "Invite a friend"/"Return" referral system.	Account block from 7 days up to a permanent one, confiscation of the in-game valuables and/or in-game advantages obtained as a result of such use.
7. Use of third-party software, prohibited programs and cheating
Violation	Sanctions
7.1. Use and/or threat and/or attempted use of software and/or devices that emulate a player's presence in the game, or that disrupt the normal functioning of the game software.	Account block from 7 days up to a permanent one, confiscation of the in-game valuables and/or in-game advantages obtained as a result of such use.
7.2. Modification of the game client, that is, actions aimed at reverse-engineering, decompiling, disassembling or otherwise extracting the client's source code; actions to make any changes to the source code or to alter the functionality of the game client, as well as actions to gain access to the game's server software and/or spoof server packets, and the aforementioned actions to gain access to and interfere with the technical protection measures used by the administration (including, but not limited to, the use of client modifications such as patches that change the chat color, character appearance, scroll distance and the like).	Account block from 7 days up to a permanent one, confiscation of the in-game valuables and/or in-game advantages obtained as a result of such use.
7.3. Gaining an in-game advantage and/or in-game valuables, including gaining game experience, as a result of the use of third-party software, including as a result of the use of third-party software by another user.	Account block from 1 day up to a permanent one, confiscation of the in-game valuables and/or in-game advantages obtained as a result of such use.
7.4. Creating and/or using additional accounts for the purpose of gaining an in-game advantage. For example: one player may use only one account at a time, regardless of the login method (third-party software or a second device). This rule also covers abuse of the Dungeon Curse or the use of accounts on different factions in a way that gives an advantage over a player with a single account. If you cannot draw the line between gaining an advantage and normal play — do not take the risk, do not register more than one account!	Permanent block of the additional account with confiscation of the in-game valuables obtained through the in-game advantage; from a warning up to a permanent block of the main account.
7.5. Use or threat of use of third-party software that could result in, among other things, gaining an in-game advantage/hacking/data interception/removal of restrictions imposed by the technical protection measures used by the administration.	Account block from 7 days up to a permanent one.
7.6. Purchasing items on the in-game market that were obtained by other users as a result of violations of the User and/or License agreements.	Cancellation of the in-game deal and refund of the game currency to the buyer (at the administration's discretion). The character may be blocked, up to permanently.
7.7. Transferring in-game items that cannot be transferred by any means other than exploiting game errors, including with the use of third-party software.	Confiscation of the item. From a warning up to a permanent block of the accounts of the players involved in the exchange.
7.8. Hacking/attempted hacking, unauthorized access to another person's game account or other interference with players' personal data, accounts or the operation of the game server[2].	Permanent account block. A complete ban from the project is possible.
7.9. Committing actions that caused a failure of the administration's service of providing entertainment services aimed at organizing and supporting the gameplay involving users.	Permanent account block.
8. Use of a user account by more than one person[4]

8.1. Transferring registration data to another user by any means, including selling, buying, trading and distributing registration data.	Account block up to a permanent one.
8.2. Obtaining and distributing the registration information of another user or group of users required to access the Game.
8.3. Logging into another user's account, even with their consent.

9. Selling or buying in-game valuables

9.1. Distributing information about the sale/purchase of in-game valuables and/or an account, or about the provision of in-game services for non-game currency or means not provided for on the project.	Account block up to a permanent one.
9.2. Providing in-game services (including help with character development) for non-game currency or means not provided for on the project.	Account block up to a permanent one.
9.3. Offering and/or actually selling and/or buying in-game valuables for non-game currency or means not provided for on the project. (An in-game shop with text about selling items and/or listing items at the maximum possible price with contact details not provided for by the game, as well as any other tricks implying the purchase/sale of items for non-game currency, are treated as this violation).	Account block from 10 days up to a permanent one, confiscation of the sold or purchased in-game valuables (regardless of whether they may have been modified after purchase). If the purchase of game currency is detected, all points/ZZ are confiscated from the violator — the user who broke the game rules (down to zero).
9.4. Selling/buying/trading an account.	Permanent block of the player's accounts.
10. Miscellaneous

10.5. Creating and/or participating in cross-faction alliances. Any other distortion of the intent of the game mechanics of faction warfare.	Confiscation of the in-game valuables obtained through the in-game advantage. Account block up to a permanent one.

[1] An attempt at any violation may entail the same sanctions as the violation itself.

[2] The administration is not obliged to, but may, if possible, help the player restore access to their account and recover fully or partially lost in-game valuables/characters. However, if the loss of access is the player's own direct fault, assistance will be refused.

[3] The right to define what constitutes advertising belongs to the administration.

[4] Penalties for violations apply to all users, regardless of their degree of kinship with the account owner.
